  1. Cover Essential Document Fees – Pay for birth certificates, passports, and other legal identity documents for U.S.-born children in mixed-status families.
  2. Provide Legal Consultation Support – Continue covering fees for trusted immigration legal advice, referrals, and document preparation.
  3. Support Family Preparedness Planning – Assist families in completing Family Preparedness documents, naming caregivers or guardians, and understanding their legal options.
  4. Emergency Family Assistance – Establish a small emergency fund to:
    • Support families if a parent is detained by ICE (temporary rent, food, or transportation costs).
    • Transport children to reunite with deported parents when appropriate and safe.

Provision for Unanticipated or Related Expenses

In addition to the specific uses outlined above, other unexpected or related expenses that directly support the goals of family stability, legal regularization, and child safety within mixed-status or immigrant families.
